It is important to acknowledge the hardworking individuals that keep the wheels of our economy turning! September 11th to 17th is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week in the United States. Please take a moment to show appreciation for the men and women who spend countless hours on the road making sure that products from around the world arrive to their final destination safely and on time.

Professional truck drivers are not only vital to our nation’s workforce; they play a pivotal role in the daily operations of commerce at every level.

This National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we at Classic Transportation would like to remind you:

Truck Driving is a demanding job. Drivers face dangerous roadways, inclement weather, and long hours both day and night to safely transport the goods we consume every day. Often they are away from their homes and families for days (or more) at a time.

Driving large trucks requires important training. These professional men and women are trained to move materials carefully and according to regulations in large, difficult-to-maneuver vehicles.
Drivers undergo extensive training to keep themselves, other motorists, and the products they haul safe and protected.

Without truckers there would be no deliveries! Whether you’re out buying groceries, new clothes, or even shopping online, the products you use every day wouldn’t reach your home if not for professionally trained truck drivers.

At Classic Transportation, we recognize the importance of our drivers who haul our clients’ products and materials across the country. This National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we have many fun activities taking place to honor the exceptional men and women that move Classic forward. We are serving up breakfast, sack lunches, hosting a cook-out, raffling prizes, and handing out gifts to show our appreciation. Classic’s drivers are an irreplaceable part of our team, and we strive to show our appreciation not only this week, but daily and throughout the year. We’d like to encourage others, companies and consumers alike, to do the same!
